Honoring Sam Kader’s life and legacy by raising awareness of the threat that Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) infections pose to the vulnerable.

In recent years, there has been a devastating resurgence of highly virulent and highly contagious Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA). Healthy young people struck without warning, have rapidly succumbed to overwhelming staphylococcal sepsis that defied all manner of treatment.

Among these deeply tragic stories is that of Sam Kader, a perfectly healthy and vigorous young man who passed away in the summer of 2010 after a courageous 2-week battle with this bacterium.
